Loyalty Voucher and Program Configuration

This section gives an overview of the creation of voucher attributes and the loyalty program configuration.

Create voucher attributes

  • All voucher attributes are created in rCos with the type (origin) ‘Treazure’ or ‘CRM’.
  • In the example below, the ‘LR’ voucher is issued by Treazure whereas the ‘EB’ voucher attribute will be linked in the CRM system.

  • The ‘Can deactivate’ option works in conjunction with personal promotions and determines if the customer has a choice in POS to activate or de-active the promotion. If the checkbox is selected (true), it allows the customer to change their mind and activate or deactivate the personalised promotion in POS. If the option is false, the promotion will apply when the basket conditions are met, without the option to deactivate it.
  • ‘Unlimited use’ allows the same voucher to trigger multiple promotions independent of the layer the promotions are linked to.
    • If the ‘unlimited use’ is false, and you have two promotions on the same layer for separate products (e.g., a shirt and a dress) then only the product with the highest discount will be applied.
    • If ‘unlimited use’ is true, the shirt will be discounted, and because the voucher is still active, and the voucher is also a trigger for the dress promotion, the dress will also be discounted.

Below are some examples where CRM voucher attributes will be created.

  • Exclusive deals, where a voucher attribute is used to trigger a specific promotion for a customer, are created in the CRM system and linked to the customer card.
    • For example, the ‘earn and burn’ indicator that sends a trigger that the customer is opted in is maintained in the CRM system.
    • This voucher indicator will trigger a loyalty promotion which determines the rules for earning points.

  • Another example is for example the friends of the family voucher.
    • The CRM system will create the attribute and link it to the customer.
    • The same voucher attribute is also created in rCos and linked to a financial or extra article promotion.
    • If the customer card is scanned and the ‘friends of the family’ voucher is linked, the promotion will trigger if the basket conditions are met. For this scenario, a voucher is never issued in Treazure, it simply triggers a promotion.
