Loyalty Program Configuration

The below screen shows the loyalty program maintenance screen where the loyalty program rules are defined.

In the ‘Settings’ container the expiry rules are defined:

  • The point expiry period.
  • The ‘Expiry type’ field provides two options:

    • Total balance - The expiration date changes (reset) the moment the balance of the points changes on saving or redeeming. For example, the customer buys for the first time on the 1st of July 2021 and the points are valid for one year. If the customer buys again on the 1st of June 2022, then the points expiry date is reset, and the points will be valid until the 1st of June 2023 (another year).
    • Date earned - An expiry date is set when points are earned, and the oldest points will expire first.

In the ‘Rewards’ container:

  • The reward type is set to issue a voucher when the threshold is reached.
  • The voucher ‘LR’ will be issued in Treazure when 100 points are reached.
  • The voucher expiry is set for 90 days.
